Lisa is an associate in the firm's Atlanta, Georgia office. She represents clients in professional liability matters, with an emphasis on skilled nursing and premises liability cases involving allegations of professional negligence, ordinary negligence, personal injury, and wrongful death. Prior to returning to Huff Powell Bailey, Lisa primarily represented a high-profile nursing home chain as a senior attorney in their captive law firm. In that role, Lisa supervised other staff, managed hundreds of cases, and successfully resolved dozens of pre-suit claims. Lisa has extensive trial experience as a former criminal defense attorney in Metro-Atlanta, including having spent five years specializing in death-penalty cases throughout the State of Georgia. As a result of her varied experience, Lisa is especially skilled in navigating complex issues both in and out of the courtroom.
