Gabriella has been practicing law in the medical arena since 2012. She represents physicians, hospitals and other health care providers in professional liability and general liability cases. She has extensive experience in defending these complex cases with the potential for excessive damages. She is involved at every stage of the litigation of these cases including the trial and appellate phases. She is a valued member of each client's legal team and is heavily relied upon for her evaluations, insights, strategy development, as well as courtroom and deposition expertise. Like other attorneys at Huff Powell Bailey, Gabriella's practice lends itself to a significant amount of courtroom experience. Gabriella also represents physicians before the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
Gabriella began her legal career in 2012 working or the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's Public Health Law Program in Emergency Preparedness and Health Policy. As a Senior Legal Analyst, she worked to identify: where current public health legislation exists; may require strengthening; and developed legislative strategies to ensure compliance. During her tenure, she was selected to present a CDC TedMed Talk and authored a guidance on responding to radiological emergencies.
