Lindsey focuses her practice on defending her clients in a myriad of medical malpractice and other healthcare matters. She advises and represents healthcare professionals, including but not limited to, physicians, nurses, and pharmacies in front of their respective licensing boards. Lindsey also represents hospitals, nursing homes, and staffing companies in cases involving claims of negligent hiring, negligent retention, professional negligence, and licensing issues.

Prior to joining Huff Powell Bailey, Lindsey worked at a reputable Atlanta litigation firm, representing and defending clients in matters of medical malpractice, general liability, premises liability, and trucking litigation. In addition, Lindsey previously worked at a large full-service civil defense firm where she primarily defended healthcare providers. This work was done during the crux of the COVID-19 pandemic, which required her to stay abreast of the ever-changing regulations and counsel clients on how to best comply with those rules. Lindsey has also participated in bench trials, jury trials, and arbitration hearings. She has received favorable rulings on motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgments on behalf of her clients. Lindsey is licensed to practice in Georgia and Alabama.

Lindsey was previously voted a Top 40 under 40 Attorney by the National Black Lawyers. Her expertise in healthcare law granted her an invitation from the Magic City Bar Association to present a CLE on healthcare law updates. She has also been a featured presenter to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

When it comes to developing strategies to solve her clients’ legal issues, Lindsey prioritizes being thorough and thoughtful. Lindsey is an efficient legal researcher, persuasive writer, and clear communicator, which allows her to achieve the best results possible for her clients.

Lindsey holds a special interest in increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal community. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, an international service organization, and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, where she previously served as a co-chair of the organization’s primary fundraising event. Lindsey is passionate about reading and literacy and is the founder of a book club titled “Books and Vibes.” In her spare time, Lindsey also enjoys cheering on her favorite sports teams, including the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons.
