Paul is a seasoned medical malpractice litigator. He handles complex cases involving catastrophic injuries and death. His clients include physicians, nurses, physician groups, surgery centers and hospitals. Paul also defends medical device manufacturers in products liability cases and claims. During his legal career, Paul has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the State of Georgia. He has also appeared on behalf of numerous clients before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Paul has been recognized by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyers from 2016 through 2021, and prior to that was recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2011 through 2015. He has also been recognized by U.S. News Best Lawyers since 2016.
Paul frequently is requested by clients and healthcare organizations to give presentations on issues pertaining to patient care, the law, and risk management.

- Extensive experience handling malpractice cases concerning care provided by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, and nursing staff to pregnant patients resulting in claims or lawsuits concerning catastrophic injury and maternal death and fetal demise.
- Defense of wide range of medical providers, midlevel providers, hospitals and surgery centers related to catastrophic injury and death.
- Served as appellate counsel for multiple clients in Georgia state and federal appellate courts.
