Allen joined Huff Powell Bailey in 2024 as Counsel in the firm's Atlanta office. Allen's practice is devoted to defending hospitals, physicians, mid-level providers, and nurses in cases involving allegations of medical malpractice. A large portion of Allen's practice involves the defense of hospitals and physicians in cases alleging birth injuries during labor and delivery. He has extensive experience handling these cases involving complex medical issues and catastrophic injuries, from their origin through trial and at the appellate level.

Allen is frequently asked to give presentations to medical groups, hospital staff, administrators and others on current issues in the field of medical malpractice litigation and hospital risk management.

Before joining Huff Powell Bailey, Allen completed his juris doctorate program at Wake Forest University School of Law in 2013. He also worked for many years as a medical malpractice defense attorney and partner in Georgia with a large multi-state firm. Allen lives in Madison, Georgia with his wife, Mary Ann, and their two daughters.
