Sheri is Counsel in the firm’s Savannah, Georgia office and focuses her practice primarily on defending healthcare providers and institutions on claims of medical malpractice. She has extensive litigation experience, as well as experience advising both nonprofit and for-profit businesses.
Sheri spent the first 14 years of her legal career at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, where she defended clients in healthcare, products liability, financial services, construction, business torts, financial services, and estate litigation. Her defense experience also included premises liability, employment, and general commercial litigation.
In 2016, Sheri left her position as a Shareholder with Baker Donelson to become the director of a non-profit legal services law firm. In that role, she gained significant experience in labor relations and negotiations, employment law, human resources, staff development, nonprofit management, commercial contracts and leases, federal regulatory law and compliance, and corporate governance.
In 2021, Sheri moved to Savannah, Georgia and joined a busy civil litigation law firm, whether she handled tort cases including those with catastrophic injury and/or death, as well as advised businesses and individuals on various matters including commercial contracts and leases, commercial disputes, business torts, estate and trust disputes, and labor and employment issues.
